Pamporovo is known as the most sunniest resort in Bulgaria. More than 240 sunny days in a year. These are eternally green pine forests and lush meadows. The place is protected from northern winds and the influence of the southern Mediterranean climate conducive for a pleasant relax and attracts many people in both summer and winter.
Velingrad is declared Spa resort of national importance in 1951, but with International significance in 1981. In 2005 the town was declared a "spa capital of Bulgaria." Beautiful scenery, mineral springs and beneficial for the treatment of many diseases climatic features make Velingrad preferred by Bulgarian and foreign tourists destination.
The resort has unique park located on the territory of 344 ha. Here grow over 200 Mediterranean sea plant species, some of which have been declared natural sights and are aged over 550 years. Sandanski is the warmest Bulgarian city in all seasons, the duration of sunshine exceeds 2450 hours.
Initially created as hunting grounds for Bulgarian Royalty, Borovets gradually becomes a modern ski resort without losing the beauty and wildlife that charmed equally peasants and rulers. The very name "Borovets" originates from Bulgarian pine and is inspired by the abundant evergreen vegetation of the mountain, bring to mind a sense of comfort and relaxation.

In the western part of picturesque Rhodopes Mountain is Devin. It rises between the deep slopes of the river valleys Devin and Buinovska, they sorround Devin from the south. The south and west border is Borinska River. Devin is located in a small valley on the banks of Devinska River, a tributary to Vacha. To the south rise the highest slopes of the river Chernatitsa.
